Inspired by the true story of Ruby Bridges, who in 1960 became one of the first African-American children to go to an all white school in New Orleans.
Facing vicious protests and threats as she was escorted to school by four armed marshals, 6 year old Ruby ended up in a class alone as white parents withdrew their children from the school
An interactive performance/workshop for young people and adults exploring Ruby’s story and the racial segregation of 1960s America.
