About This Project

“Glancing over my shoulder tears filled my eyes, as my last hope was gone. Our homes had been set on fire, painful memories flooded my mind. Scorched trees which are now black with ashes stand silently where they had once been so proud.”

Anglo Saxon Britain. A local tribe of warriors are being forced to hand over their swords to the Romans and follow new leaders – or face death. How will they contain their anger and manage to do as they are bid with dignity and without losing their pride as a people?

This four part drama for Year 4 was co-delivered by the class teacher and two actor-facilitators.
