About This Project

Based on the Charles Dickens classic, the children enter the underworld of Victorian London. There they meet a young man called Noah Claypole and his girlfriend Charlotte who are trying to make a life for themselves, running a gang of ‘Sharpers’ (‘swindlers’) after the death of Fagin.

Originally devised by the Blahs and Leeds Theatre in Education Company in 2012, the three session participatory project for KS2 children involved the class teacher co-delivering alongside two actor-teachers.
